Mourning and Marching Kids Activities Blog

I saw a breathtaking scene this morning…about fifty women were walking down our route, all dressed in black, carrying crosses and branches, singing praise to God.   These women were headed downtown to bring together other women in a march through our city to the Governor'due south palace.   They are doing so as a sign to the authorities that something must exist done to bring peace to our city. They were marching in mourning and remembrance for those who take died this year, especially the women and children who were brutally killed on Saturday in 3 villages outside of boondocks.

I wanted to cheer for them, for their courage and force to walk and to stand up upwardly for their faith.   I wanted to tell them, "well washed" and thank you. I wanted to join with them, to march side by side in encouragement. But all I could do was lookout man, smile, and greet them. We don't know what today will bring.   The march is to exist a peaceful demonstration, but will information technology exist?   Will it be peaceful?   We tin can only pray that information technology volition.

So today, if you would, say a prayer for the metropolis of Jos, for the people who are living in tension and doubt, for those who only desire to run across peace and at-home render to their city.
